Did you ever see

The dawn so dark?

They sky's blue is cold,

Stark,

And when you gaze on

The stars,

The light dwindles;

Chased away

With your grand thoughts,

Forcing you to think

Scared and small-

Drowning in a blue wall

Of almost day.
