We really don't have to be so serious you know
Heck, we're pretty silly come to think of it
I guess its your call though
If you want to be somber, I'm down
You know I have a melancholy mind
Even still, I'd rather sit and make each other laugh
Than romance in some tortured love to find
Look, I know its not really one or the other
I'm just proposing my stance if forced to choose
Because it seems to me that poetic love
Always implies the need for a muse
Muses are quite helpful I guess
But why pinpoint the cause of our adoration
The simple fact is I love you baby
And for that I choose the simpler demonstration
